Volleyball Recap: Burkburnett Takes a Loss

Burkburnett was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Fairfield Eagles.

Burkburnett may have fallen short, but they were sure consistent: they scored 16 points in every single set they played. The final score came out to 25-16, 25-16.

Burkburnett now has a losing record of 3-4. As for Fairfield, they now have a winning record of 2-1.

Burkburnett will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Jacksboro at 6:00 p.m. on September 2. As for Fairfield, they will take on Borger at 12:00 p.m. on Friday.
