Hudson faced Walsh Jesuit in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Saturday. The Explorers never let the Warriors get on the board and left with a 2-0 victory. Hudson's defense has been rock solid lately; the team hasn't given up a goal in their last five matchups.

Alyssa Maniar and Ava Bell scored both of Hudson's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 34 goals.

Hudson's win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 14-0-1. Those home victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up zero goals over those three contests. As for Walsh Jesuit, their defeat dropped their record down to 10-6-1.
