If Rivendell Academy was riding high fresh off their 4-1 takedown of Sharon Academy on Saturday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. Rivendell Academy fell just short of the Springfield Cosmos by a score of 2-1 on Wednesday. Rivendell Academy was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Springfield apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in October of 2024.

Having lost for the first time this season, Rivendell Academy fell to 3-1. As for Springfield, they now have a winning record of 3-2-1.
