Recap: Eastside Ghosts vs. Don Bosco Prep Ironmen
The Eastside Ghosts had to hit the road for their first game and sadly it wasn't the result they were hoping for. They took a serious blow against Don Bosco Prep on Thursday, falling 67-40. Eastside was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 50-12.
Among those leading the charge was Dylan Harper, who scored 22 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Malik Sheppard, who scored eight points.
Eastside's defeat dropped their record down to 0-1. As for Don Bosco Prep, their victory bumped their record up to 1-0.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Eastside will be home for the holidays to greet Columbia at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. Don Bosco Prep will be home for the holidays to greet McEachern at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. McEachern has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last four games.
