Baseball Recap: Little Village Comes Up Short

Little Village lost against Hubbard back in April of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Phoenix lost 12-2 to the Greyhounds. The Phoenix have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Little Village's loss dropped their record down to 5-4. As for Hubbard, their victory bumped their record up to 11-4-1.

Coming up, Little Village will face off against Kennedy at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. The Crusaders will roll in looking for their eighth straight win, something the Phoenix surely won't give up without a fight. As for Hubbard, they will challenge Hancock at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. The Greyhounds' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Eagles have averaged an impressive 8.6 runs per game this season.
