Basketball Recap: San Antonio Christian Comes Up Short

San Antonio Christian was the 45-43 winner over St. Joseph when they last played one another back in February, but their luck changed this time around. The San Antonio Christian Lions took a 42-35 hit to the loss column at the hands of the St. Joseph Flyers on Friday. The Lions have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

San Antonio Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 3-11. As for St. Joseph, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six contests, which provided a nice bump to their 8-7 record this season.

San Antonio Christian will be home for the holidays to greet St. Anthony at 5:30 p.m. on December 20th. St. Anthony will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something San Antonio Christian surely won't give up without a fight. St. Joseph and John Paul II will compete for holiday cheer at 11:00 a.m. on Friday.
