Basketball Recap: Chattanooga Central Takes a Loss

Chattanooga Central was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their 13th straight defeat dating back to last season. They were beaten by the East Hamilton Hurricanes 83-12. While losing is never fun, the Pounders can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Tennessee basketball rankings (they are ranked 374th, while the Hurricanes are ranked 155th).

Chattanooga Central's loss dropped their record down to 0-10. As for East Hamilton, they are on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last 12 matches, which provided a nice bump to their 17-11 record this season.

Chattanooga Central does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for East Hamilton, they will be taking part in a tournament against Ooltewah at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
