Football Recap: Hockinson Takes a Loss

Hockinson was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat dating back to last season. They lost 31-6 to the Ridgefield Spudders. The Hawks lost against the Spudders in their previous head to head back in September of 2024, too, but the margin this time around was even wider than the 24-21 score last time.

Hockinson's loss dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Ridgefield, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-2.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Hockinson will challenge rival R.A. Long at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Ridgefield is set to take on their familiar foe Hudson's Bay at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
