Soccer Recap: Gladbrook-Reinbeck Takes a Loss

Gladbrook-Reinbeck managed to slip by Des Moines Christian the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Rebels lost 6-0 to the Lions on Saturday. Having soared to a lofty seven goals in the game before, Gladbrook-Reinbeck's shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Gladbrook-Reinbeck's defeat was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Des Moines Christian, they now have a winning record of 3-2.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Gladbrook-Reinbeck will head out to face off against North Fayette Valley at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Des Moines Christian, they will venture away from home to take on Van Meter at 4:30 p.m. on Monday.
