If East Buchanan wanted to avenge their loss from the last time they played Bishop LeBlond, they should've done a better job of containing Brylee Miller. The Eagles blew past the Bulldogs 3-0 on Monday with plenty of help from Miller, who had 17 digs and two assists. With that strong performance, she is now averaging an impressive 10.4 digs per game.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Bishop LeBlond took every set by at least 12 points. The match finished with set scores of 25-12, 25-10, 25-13.

The win made it two in a row for Bishop LeBlond and bumps their season record up to 14-2. As for East Buchanan, their loss dropped their record down to 13-7-3.

Bishop LeBlond and East Buchanan should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps Missouri Rankings. The Eagles (ranked 36th) will meet West Platte (ranked 250th) at 7:00 p.m. on October 7. Meanwhile, East Buchanan will square off against Trenton at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday with a big rank advantage (143 vs. 393).
