Softball Recap: Greenwich Takes a Loss

Wednesday just wasn't the day for Greenwich's offense. They came up short against the Wilton Warriors on Wednesday, falling 11-0. The Cardinals were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Warriors apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in April of 2024.

This is the second loss in a row for Greenwich and nudges their season record down to 3-5. As for Wilton, their win was their first in the league, bumping their league record up to 1-2 and their overall record up to 3-4.

Greenwich has already played their next match (against Bridgeport Central), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Wilton, they have also already played their next contest, a 15-1 defeat against Trumbull on the 25th.
