Basketball Game Preview: Hermitage Hermits vs. Star City Bulldogs

The Hermitage Hermits will head out on the road to take on the Star City Bulldogs at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Last Friday, Hermitage had to suffer through a 58-18 loss at the hands of Emerson. While losing is never fun, the Hermits can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Arkansas basketball rankings (they are ranked 250th, while the Pirates are ranked 97th).

Meanwhile, Star City unfortunately witnessed the end of their five-game winning streak on Friday. They were dealt a 68-37 loss at the hands of Watson Chapel. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat the Bulldogs have suffered since January 2nd.

Hermitage has been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-21 record this season. As for Star City, their loss was their first in the conference, dropping their conference record down to 4-1 and their overall record down to 8-14.
