Baseball Recap: Annawan-Wethersfield's Luck Takes a Turn for the Worse on Saturday

After flying high against Mercer County last Thursday, Annawan-Wethersfield came back down to earth. The Titans took a 6-2 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Alleman Pioneers on Saturday. The contest marked the Titans' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

Annawan-Wethersfield moved to 5-3 with that loss, which also ended their three-game winning streak. As for Alleman, they pushed their record up to 9-3 with the victory, which was their third straight at home.
