Baseball Recap: Hobbs Comes Up Short

Hobbs lost against Carlsbad on Tuesday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Eagles lost 13-3 to the Cavemen/Cavegirls. The Eagles have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Jason Fuentes was cooking despite his team's loss, going a perfect 2-for-2 with one run and one RBI. Another player making a difference was Karsyn Phillips, who went 1-for-2 with two RBI and one double.

Hobbs' loss dropped their record down to 8-18. As for Carlsbad, they pushed their record up to 21-5 with the win, which was their 14th straight at home.

As of now, neither Hobbs nor the Cavemen/Cavegirls have any future games scheduled.
