Soccer Game Preview: Garinger vs. Hough + How To Watch

The Garinger Wildcats will head out to face off against the Hough Huskies at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.

Garinger's defense heads into the match hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Tuesday. They blew past Butler 9-0. Renier Hernandez Diaz was a massive factor in the win as he booted in three goals all by himself.

Meanwhile, Hough's game on Tuesday was all tied up 0-0 at the half, but luckily for them it didn't stay that way. Everything went their way against Palisades as they made off with a 3-0 victory. The final result isn't all that surprising considering Hough's considerable advantage in MaxPreps' North Carolina soccer rankings (they are ranked 27th, while Palisades are ranked 184th).

Garinger has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-6-2 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 29 goals over those five contests. As for Hough, their victory bumped their record up to 13-4-3.
