Preview: Kingsman Academy vs. National Collegiate Prep
Kingsman Academy may have come out ahead in their last game, but they shouldn't get too cocky given who is up next. They will challenge National Collegiate Prep on the road at 7:00 PM on Friday. It might come down to the wire as the game is expected to be close.
Kingsman Academy had to travel to play their first game of the season, and the final result was worth the trip. Everything went their way against Linden-McKinley last Friday as they made off with a 26-0 win. The margin was wide but not a surprise since Kingsman Academy are ranked far ahead of Linden-McKinley in the MaxPreps rankings.
Meanwhile, National Collegiate Prep faced Archbishop Carroll in a battle between two of the state's top teams. National Collegiate Prep ended up forfeiting their contest against Archbishop Carroll 0-2 last week.
Kingsman Academy's victory lifted them to 1-0 while National Collegiate Prep's loss dropped them down to 0-1. We'll see if National Collegiate Prep is able to find more success (and make for a more exciting match than their last) when the teams meet up.
