Football Recap: Elkin Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Elkin played a tough matchup on Friday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They were beaten by the Ashe County Huskies 52-17. The Buckin' Elks have struggled against the Huskies recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive lost matchup.

It was another big night for Bryce Peters, who threw for 356 yards and a pair of TDs, and also rushed for 79 yards and two scores on only five carries for Ashe County. Those 79 rushing yards gave Peters a new career-high. Riley Estes was in the mix as well, providing Ashe County with two touchdowns.

Elkin now has a losing record of 2-3. As for Ashe County, the victory was their first on the road , bumping their record up to 2-3.
