Soccer Game Preview: Ryan vs. Argyle + How To Watch

Ryan is 1-6 against Argyle since January of 2021 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Tuesday. The Raiders will be playing at home against the Eagles at 6:30 p.m.

Friday just wasn't the day for Ryan's offense. They came up short against Colleyville Heritage on Friday, falling 4-0. While losing is never fun, Ryan can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas soccer rankings (they are ranked 334th, while Colleyville Heritage are ranked 15th).

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Argyle). They put the hurt on Denton with a sharp 7-1 victory on Friday. Argyle haven't had any issues with Denton recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive win against them.

Ryan's defeat dropped their record down to 3-7-2. As for Argyle, their victory bumped their record up to 9-2-2.

Ryan might still be hurting after the 5-0 loss they got from Argyle in their previous meeting back in March of 2025. Can the Raiders avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
