Softball Recap: Pierre T.F. Riggs Comes Up Short

Pierre T.F. Riggs lost against Stevens back in April of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Governors fell 6-1 to the Raiders. The matchup marked the Governors' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

This is the second loss in a row for Pierre T.F. Riggs and nudges their season record down to 2-6. As for Stevens, the victory keeps they at an undefeated 5-0.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Pierre T.F. Riggs is set to face off against their familiar foe Aberdeen Central at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Stevens will take on rival Rapid City Central at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
