Softball Game Preview: Scranton Prep Cavaliers vs. Scranton Knights

Scranton Prep is on a three-game streak of home losses, and Scranton an 11-game streak of away losses dating back to last season. However, someone's due for a change in luck on Tuesday. The Scranton Prep Cavaliers will welcome the Scranton Knights at 4:30 p.m. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Friday just wasn't the day for Scranton Prep's offense. They lost 13-0 to Valley View on Friday.

Delaware Valley hit Scranton with a five-run fifth inning on Friday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The Knights came up short against the Warriors, falling 13-6.

Scranton's defeat dropped their record down to 0-6. As for Scranton Prep, their loss dropped their record down to 0-5.

Scranton Prep got the 'W' when the teams last played back in May of 2025 against Scranton by a conclusive 15-0 score. Will the Cavaliers repeat their success, or do the Knights have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
