Dawson wins going away against Mart

The Dawson Bulldogs waltzed into their game Tuesday with three straight wins but they left with four. They put the hurt on Mart with a sharp 58-38 win. That 58-38 margin sets a new team best for Dawson this season.
Dawson's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Hastin Easley, who scored 21 points. That makes it five consecutive games in which Easley has scored at least 25% of Dawson's points. Elijah Allen was another key contributor, scoring 15 points.
Dawson's win bumped their record up to 10-6. As for Mart, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-4.
Dawson will head out on the road to face off against Riesel at 2:15 p.m. on Friday. Riesel will be looking to keep their three-game home win streak alive. Mart will take on Axtell at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Axtell is coming into the game on a four-game losing streak.
