Basketball Recap: Bastrop Finds Playoff Glory Versus Northwest

It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Bastrop had no problem doing just that on Tuesday. They came out on top against the Northwest Raiders by a score of 67-60. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Rams.

Bastrop's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Antron Mason II led the charge by dropping a double-double with 21 points and ten assists. The game was Mason II's sixth in a row with at least 17 points. Lebron Deal was another key player, going 8-for-18 to rack up 20 points and seven assists.

Bastrop's victory bumped their record up to 19-6. As for Northwest, their defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 21-13.
