Baseball Recap: Somerset Academy Panthers vs. Ferguson Falcons

Somerset Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They lost 11-1 to the Ferguson Falcons. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Panthers of the 4-3 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in February of 2018.

Somerset Academy got a good showing from Sebastian Rodriguez, who tossed two innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. Rodriguez has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than two walks any time he's pitched this season.

Somerset Academy will head out to take on NSU University at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Ferguson, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Sunset at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
