Lakeland Preparatory waltzed into their matchup on Thursday with two straight wins... but they left with three. Everything went their way against the Bolivar Central Tigers as they made off with a 3-0 victory. That's more bragging rights for the Lions, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

The match finished with set scores of 25-12, 25-19, 25-9.

Lakeland Preparatory was led to victory by Madelynn Chauffe and Avery Spencer. Chauffe had four digs and two aces, while Spencer had 14 digs and five aces. What's more, Chauffe racked up seven assists, the most she's had since back in October of 2024. Abby Stevens also deserves some recognition as she posted her first assist of the season.
