Baseball Game Preview: Lincoln Northwest Falcons vs. Aurora Huskies

The Lincoln Northwest Falcons will face off against the Aurora Huskies at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday. Lincoln Northwest is coming into the contest on a five-game losing streak.

Lincoln Northwest saw some tournament action on Tuesday. They fell just short of Elkhorn by a score of 4-3.

Meanwhile, Aurora fell victim to Concordia/Brownell/Omaha Christian Academy and their airtight pitching crew on Thursday. They took a 5-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Mustangs.

Aurora saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jack Carstensen, who went 2-for-3 with one stolen base.

Lincoln Northwest's defeat dropped their record down to 2-10. As for Aurora, their loss dropped their record down to 4-8.

Everything went Lincoln Northwest's way against Aurora in their previous meeting back in April of 2025, as Lincoln Northwest made off with a 13-2 victory. Will the Falcons repeat their success, or do the Huskies have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
