Baseball Recap: Northern Adirondack Comes Up Short

It was a proper cat-fight when Northern Adirondack faced off against Northeastern Clinton on Thursday. The Bobcats took a 4-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Cougars. The Bobcats have struggled against the Cougars recently, as the game was their eighth consecutive lost meeting.

Northern Adirondack saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Hunter Matton, who went 2-for-3 with one run.

Northern Adirondack's loss dropped their record down to 2-8. As for Northeastern Clinton, the win got them back to even at 5-5-1.

Northern Adirondack wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next match, a 7-6 defeat against Chazy on the 11th. As for Northeastern Clinton, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, an 8-6 loss against Plattsburgh on the 12th.
