Basketball Recap: West Vigo Turns Things Around After Road Loss

There's no place like home for West Vigo, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Tuesday. They came out on top against the South Putnam Eagles by a score of 46-38 on Friday. The win was some much needed relief for the Vikings as it spelled an end to their three-game losing streak.

West Vigo's victory bumped their record up to 3-4. As for South Putnam, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-5.

West Vigo and Brown County will face off at 5:30 p.m. on Saturday without much rest having both just played. As for South Putnam, they won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Parke Heritage at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday. One thing working in Parke Heritage's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points every time they've taken the court this season.
