Wardlaw Hartridge and South Amboy are an even 4-4 against one another since April of 2015, but likely not for long. The Rams will head out on the road to square off against the Governors at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. Wardlaw Hartridge will be looking to extend their current seven-game winning streak.

South Amboy let Manville stack five runs on them in the seventh inning on Monday but luckily South Amboy prevailed anyway. The Governors sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 6-5 victory over the Mustangs.

Mia Pina was incredible, going 1-for-3 with two stolen bases, two RBI, and one run. That's the most RBI she has posted since back in March. Leangeliz Deleon also deserves some recognition as she hit her first double of the season.

Wardlaw Hartridge pushed their record up to 10-1 with the win, which was their fourth straight at home. The home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.5 runs on average over those games. As for South Amboy, their win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 8-5.

Wardlaw Hartridge took their victory against South Amboy in their previous meeting back in April by a conclusive 17-7 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Rams since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
