Football Recap: Clermont Northeastern Comes Up Short

Clermont Northeastern lost against Miami Valley Christian Academy back in August of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Rockets fell 13-6 to the Lions.

Among those leading the charge was AJ Ardizzone, who picked up 31 receiving yards and one touchdown, and also rushed for 74 yards. Those 74 rushing yards gave him a new career-high. Will Cameron made the highlight reel by snagging an interception and taking it all the way to the house.

Clermont Northeastern's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Miami Valley Christian Academy, the win got them back to even at 1-1.

Looking ahead, Clermont Northeastern will be defending their home field for the first time this season when they go up against Holy Cross at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Miami Valley Christian Academy, they will head out to face off against Dayton Christian at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
