Preview: Pelahatchie Chiefs vs. Forest Bearcats
The Pelahatchie Chiefs have the luxury of staying home another game and will welcome the Forest Bearcats at 10:30 a.m. on December 28th. Pelahatchie will be strutting in after a win while Forest will be coming in after a defeat.
Pelahatchie has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won six matches by 23 points or more this season. They really took it to Hillcrest Christian for the full four quarters, racking up a 54-26 victory at home.
Meanwhile, Forest pushed their score all the way to 58 on Friday, but even that wasn't enough to win. They fell to Newton 62-58.
Pelahatchie pushed their record up to 11-4 with that victory, which was their fifth straight at home. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 61.4 points per game. As for Forest, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-8.
