Basketball Recap: Iola-Scandinavia Extends Home Winning Streak to Nine

Iola-Scandinavia lost to Weyauwega-Fremont back in February, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Thursday. The Iola-Scandinavia Thunderbirds strolled past the Weyauwega-Fremont Warhawks with points to spare, taking the game 59-45. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Thunderbirds.

Iola-Scandinavia's win was their ninth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 3-1. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 68.2 points per game. As for Weyauwega-Fremont, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-4.
