Softball Recap: King & Queen Central Takes a Loss

King & Queen Central was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 20th straight loss dating back to last season. They lost 20-6 to the Mathews Blue Devils. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Blue Devils this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 13-1 back in April.

King & Queen Central's defeat dropped their record down to 0-13. As for Mathews, the win got them back to even at 7-7.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. King & Queen Central will head out to challenge Cumberland at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Mathews, they will venture away from home to face off against Gloucester at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. The Dukes will roll in looking for their 17th straight victory, something the Blue Devils surely won't give up without a fight.
