Volleyball Game Preview: Charlestown Pirates vs. Christian Academy Warriors

Charlestown is 2-8 against Christian Academy since September of 2015 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Thursday. The Pirates will look to defend their home court against the Warriors at 7:00 p.m. Considering both teams were shutout in their prior games, the pair is probably coming into this one with something to prove.

Charlestown lost 3-0 to Bedford North Lawrence on Thursday.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-18, 25-14, 25-11.

Meanwhile, Christian Academy came up short against Eastern on Tuesday, falling 3-0. The loss continues a trend for the Warriors in their meetings with the Musketeers: they've now lost three in a row.

While Christian Academy ultimately came up short, they didn't go down without a fight: they scored at least 19 points in every set they played. The final score came out to 25-19, 25-19, 25-20.

Charlestown's defeat dropped their record down to 11-16. As for Christian Academy, their loss dropped their record down to 21-9.
