Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Brookwood). They were the clear victors by an 18-8 margin over the Paul W. Bryant Stampede on Tuesday. The win continues a trend for the Panthers in their matchups with the Stampede: they've now won seven in a row.

Davis Torri looked comfortable as he struck out eight batters over four innings while giving up three earned (and three unearned) runs off six hits.

On the hitting side, Brookwood got a massive performance out of Jaydon Boren, who scored two runs and stole a base while going 2-for-2. That's the most hits Boren has posted since back in February. Another player making a difference was Brody Smithson, who went 1-for-3 with one home run and two RBI.

Brookwood hit smart and finished the game with only one strikeout. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Paul W. Bryant struck out nine times.

Brookwood's victory bumped their record up to 11-18. As for Paul W. Bryant, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost 13 of their last 15 matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-14 record this season.
