Football Recap: Jewell Takes a Loss

Jewell fell victim to Alsea and their airtight defense on Friday. They were dealt a 59-0 loss at the hands of the Wolverines. The Bluejays lost against the Wolverines in their previous head to head back in September of 2021, too, but the margin this time around was even wider than the 32-24 score last time.

Jewell's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Alsea, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-2.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Jewell is set to take on their familiar foe Falls City at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Alsea will challenge rival Lewis Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
