Volleyball Recap: South Granville Starts Season with Victory on the Road

South Granville had to travel to play their first game of the season, but the final result was worth the trip. They walked away with a 3-1 win over the Oxford Prep Griffins on Monday. This was payback for the Vikings, who suffered a 3-2 loss the last time these two teams met.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-19, 25-16, 20-25, 25-23.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. South Granville will look to takes advantage of their home court for the first time this season as they takes on Louisburg at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Oxford Prep, they will host Woods Charter at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
