Toombs County had won three straight games and Mike Polke did his part to make it four on Friday. The Toombs County Bulldogs came within five points of losing the streak, but they secured a 54-49 W against the Woodville-Tompkins Wolverines thanks to Polke, who went 7-for-14 on his way to 18 points and five assists. He is also on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed two or more in each of the last 13 games he's played.

Another player making a difference was Cornelius Bullard, who went 5-for-7 en route to 10 points. What's more, he also posted a 71% shooting accuracy, which is the highest he's achieved since back in February of 2024.

Toombs County's record is now 15-11. As for Woodville-Tompkins, their defeat dropped their record down to 13-11.
