Drew Love continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines for Farmington, rushing for 156 yards and a pair of touchdowns. Love also punched in two rushing touchdowns, which is notable because the Phoenix are 2-1 when he posts at least two rushing touchdowns, but 3-4 otherwise.

Layton wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next matchup, a 41-16 win against Cedar Valley on the 24th. As for Farmington, after both having extra time off, they and Lone Peak will shake off the rust and duke it out at 3:00 p.m. on the 31st. The Phoenix's defense better be ready for this one: the Knights have averaged an impressive 29.8 points per game this season.
