Softball Recap: Van-Far Indians vs. Marion County Mustangs
After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Community, Van-Far was happy to have turned things around on Monday. They blew past the Marion County Mustangs 12-4. The high-scoring effort was just what the Indians needed considering they were shutout in their previous contest.
Van-Far's win ended a 15-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 3-16. As for Marion County, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-10.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Van-Far will challenge Wright City at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Marion County, they will face off against Community at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
