Baseball Recap: Renton's Losing Streak Snapped at Six Games

After low-scoring totals in their previous four game, Renton brought some dynamite into their most recent matchup. They put the hurt on the Foster Bulldogs with a sharp 16-10 win on Tuesday. The Red Hawks not only won on Tuesday, but they posted their biggest win since March 18, 2024 (when they won 10-0).

Renton got a massive performance out of James (JT) Taylor, who went 1-for-4 with five RBI, two runs, and one triple. Those two runs gave Taylor a new career-high. Notorious Norman-Harris was another key player, going a perfect 3-for-3 with three runs, one stolen base, and two RBI.

Renton moved to 2-16 with that victory, which also ended their six-game losing streak. As for Foster, their defeat was their tenth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 1-17.

Renton didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, an 8-6 loss against Cedarcrest on the 8th. Foster does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
