Baseball Recap: Lafayette Has No Trouble Against Erasmus Hall

Lafayette got themselves on the board against Erasmus Hall on Wednesday, but Erasmus Hall never followed suit. They blew past the Dutchmen 21-0. The Patriots' hitters stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most runs they've scored all season.

The victory got Lafayette back to even at 2-2. As for Erasmus Hall, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-4.

Coming up, Lafayette will head out to square off against Sunset Park at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. The HEAT have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 9.17 runs per game on average), something the Patriots will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for Erasmus Hall, they will take on Petrides at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. Erasmus Hall will need to watch out since Petrides has now posted at least ten runs every time they've taken the field this season.
