Basketball Recap: Watertown Comes Up Short

Watertown lost against Mitchell back in December of 2023 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Watertown Arrows took a 50-31 bruising from the Mitchell Kernels. The Arrows have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Watertown now has a losing record at 1-2. As for Mitchell, the win got them back to even at 1-1.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Watertown will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Brandon Valley at 7:00 p.m. on January 3, 2025. As for Mitchell, they will venture away from home to take on Stevens at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Stevens will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something Mitchell surely won't give up without a fight.
