While Okeechobee's win against Centennial wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Brahmans sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 5-3 victory over the Eagles on Friday.

Okeechobee saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Brad Phillips, who went 2-for-4 with one run, one double, and one RBI. That double marked the first that Phillips has hit this season.

Okeechobee's win bumped their record up to 3-1. As for Centennial, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-4-1.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming contests. Okeechobee will face off against Legacy at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The matchup will give the Brahmans their first taste of in-conference action this season. As for Centennial, they will square off against Jensen Beach at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
