Basketball Recap: Smoky Valley Home Educators Extends Winning Streak to Eight

Smoky Valley Home Educators entered their tilt with Reno County HomeSchool on Thursday with seven consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with eight. They walked away with a 49-38 win over the Reno County HomeSchool Sabres. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 61-51 two weeks ago.

Smoky Valley Home Educators' victory was their seventh straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 16-3. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 51.9 points over those games. As for Reno County HomeSchool, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 10-10.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Smoky Valley Home Educators will venture away from home to challenge Cornerstone Family at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Reno County HomeSchool, they will square off against Stafford at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
