Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Powers). They breezed by the Falls City/Kings Valley Charter Mountaineers to the tune of 57-28 on Friday. Winning may never get old, but the Cruisers sure are getting used to it with their third in a row.

The win got Powers back to even at 5-5. As for Falls City/Kings Valley Charter, they now have a losing record at 4-5.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Powers will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Gold Beach at 5:00 p.m. on January 6, 2025. Falls City/Kings Valley Charter will also get a bit of a break before their next contest: they'll face off against Lewis Academy at 5:30 p.m. on January 7, 2025.
