Basketball Recap: Faith Lutheran Takes a Loss

Faith Lutheran's tournament run continued when they took on Capital on Friday. The Faith Lutheran Crusaders took a 75-62 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Capital Golden Eagles.

Faith Lutheran's loss dropped their record down to 7-5. As for Capital, the win (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 8-1.

Faith Lutheran and Rancho Bernardo will round out the year against one another at at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. One thing working in Faith Lutheran's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last three games. As for Capital, they will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Mountain View at 7:30 p.m. on January 7, 2025. Capital knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past nine matches -- so hopefully Mountain View likes a good challenge.
