Football Recap: Fredonia Comes Up Short

Friday just wasn't the day for Fredonia's offense. They took a blow against the Falconer/Cassadaga Valley/Maple Grove Herds on Friday, falling 35-0. That's two games in a row now that the Hillbillies have lost by exactly 35 points.

Fredonia now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Falconer/Cassadaga Valley/Maple Grove, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-2.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Fredonia will challenge rival Portville/Cuba-Rushford/Hinsdale Central at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Falconer/Cassadaga Valley/Maple Grove is set to square off against their familiar foe Salamanca at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
