Baseball Recap: Rayville Comes Up Short

Tuesday just wasn't the day for Rayville's offense. They lost 22-0 to the Bastrop Rams on Tuesday. Having soared to a lofty 13 runs in the game before, the Hornets' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Rayville has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-8 record this season. The victory made it two in a row for Bastrop and bumps their season record up to 2-3.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Rayville will face off against Ferriday at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Bastrop, they will square off against Family Community Christian at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
