Soccer Recap: Lutheran-Northeast Takes a Loss

Lutheran-Northeast came into their game on Thursday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They lost 10-0 to the Scotus Shamrocks. Lutheran-Northeast haven't had much luck with Scotus recently, as the team has come up short the last five times they've met.

Lutheran-Northeast's defeat dropped their record down to 3-2. As for Scotus, the victory keeps they at an undefeated 7-0.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Lutheran-Northeast will challenge rival Douglas County West/Concordia at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. Meanwhile, Scotus is set to face off against their familiar foe Northwest at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. Scotus are on a four-game streak of home wins, Northwest a four-game streak of away wins, meaning someone's leaving a streak behind.
