Volleyball Recap: Westmoreland's Undefeated Season over After Three Games

Fans were treated to a battle of the Eagles on Saturday. Westmoreland fell 2-0 to Brentwood Academy. The loss put an end to Westmoreland's undefeated start to the season.

Brentwood Academy found their leader in sophomore Harper Broyles, who had 13 digs and four aces. Broyles has been hot recently, having posted 12 or more digs the last three times she's played.

Having lost for the first time this season, Westmoreland fell to 2-1. As for Brentwood Academy, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 5-0.

Looking ahead, Westmoreland will challenge Portland at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Brentwood Academy, they have already played their next contest, a 2-0 win against White House-Heritage on the 23rd.
